In a full column obituary notice in its issue of August 3 , 1846 , The Times -LRB- London -RRB- said : “ Perhaps there is no individual in India , be his rank or position what it may , who has more largely patronized the advancement and fortunes of the many around him , and we believe there are not a few now in India and England who owe entirely to Dwarkanath Tagore the blessing of their present success and independence . ”
